Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to INTEGRA undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of published articles.

The review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
    The Editorial Team evaluates the manuscript for compliance with the journal's focus and scope, formatting requirements, and publication ethics standards.

  2. Similarity Check
    Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% may be returned to the author or rejected.

  3. Double-Blind Peer Review
    Eligible manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

  4. Review Evaluation
    Reviewers assess:

    • Originality

    • Relevance

    • Scientific contribution

    • Research methodology

    • Clarity of presentation

    • Quality of references

  5. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may decide:

    • Accept

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Reject

  6. Final Decision
    The Editor in Chief makes the final publication decision after considering reviewer feedback and author revisions.

The average review process is expected to take between 4 and 8 weeks.
